Ksenia is a 1893 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.

Portrait of Ksenia (pronounced Sen-ya) who was Victor Shtember's first born child.  Sadly, Ksenia died of diptheria at the age of 5.  Shtember had nearly completed this portrait of her when she passed away.  Two years later he had his second child, Natasha, now also age 5, pose in her place to finish the lower section of the painting including Ksenia's hands. In the Shtember Photography section, you will notice there are several family photos of them posing with Ksenia in the background as if to include her in spirit.
