Domna 'Domnushka' is a 1888 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.
This pencil sketch is of Domna who was a serf of the artist's wife's family. In 1861, freedom was given to the serfs but Domna, her sister Sekleteya and her husband Gavrila Nikitich, their brother Vassili the coachman, and the gardener Yakov, remained with the Apuhtina family.
According to the diary of Nadia, the artists wife, Domna remained with Nadia's Grandmother on salary as her personal maid. 'After Grandmother's death, she served my Mother and after Mother's death she stayed with me as a member of my family.'
