Painting #76, 'Head of a Young Girl'on this site is seen surrounded by the artists son Nicholas, daughter Natasha, daughter Sonja and two cousins. It was painted in 1909. When taking family pictures, Stember often made sure one of more of the paintings were in the photos.  How lucky for us to have this provenance about the paintings.
