Stembers daughter Nadja also developed into a wonderful artist.  Here she is shown among her paintings as she is learning techniques.  She remained in Russia with her husband and was employed by the state to paint portraits of Lenin.  Artist Stember was also commissioned to paint 2 portraits of Lenin, as stated in his Diary, but became too ill and died before he could paint them.
