Nadja Gregorgrievsky, Artists wife is a 1895 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.

This formal portrait is of Stember's wife Nadja. It was displayed at the artists 25th Jubilee celebration in St. Petersburg and can be seen in the photographs taken at the event. ( #14 and 34.) 

This painting was completed when she was 34 years old and prominently displayed in the Stember household. It is in many of the family pictures, including # 25 in the Photography section of this site.  The painting was rolled up and taken out of Russia to America by the artists daughter Natalie and remains in the family collection.
