A Hymn to the Rising Sun is a 1896 painting by the Russian artist Victor Stember.

Stember's daughter Natasha wrote on the back of the black and white photo that is in possession of the family, that it took Stember 2 years to complete this large painting.  It is 40 x 70 inches.  His signature can be seen in the lower right corner.  When studied, each figure is certainly a work of art in itself.
