A Nun is a 1894 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.
Nothing is known of this model but Stember's daughter noted that it was painted in Dubrachok, about 75 miles from Moscow, which was the Stember family 'dacha' or summer home. The family spent 5 months there every year, from May through September and the artist had a studio there as well as in Moscow.
