An Actress is a 1890 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.
This charcoal drawing was done during the years Stember was in Paris and appeared in a Russian magazine, as did drawing #2 in this gallery. The printer was 'Unger.' It is presumed that they were from the same article because of the style of print, size, condition of the article, etc. The woman is an actress, 'Miss Bly' (Blay?) who worked at the London Theatre 'Alhambra'
Stember's signature is in the right lower corner along with the year: 1890.
