Italian Girl with Braid

Italian Girl with Braid is a 1910 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.
Stember traveled to many countries during his lifetime to paint. It is not known if he painted this Italian girl there or she was in Moscow for some reason. This painting was also made into a postcard, published by 'Richard, St. Petersburg.' The reference number to it is #1077 and was purchased from Israel.
The painting can be seen in a studio photo of Stember surrounded by several paintings. See # 19 and 59 in the photography section of this website.
