Crying nude is a 1900 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.

This painting was displayed in St. Petersburg at the artist's 25th Anniversary celebration of his career. See photo #14 on this site.  This painting along with it's 'sister' paintings, 'Model Brushing her Hair' and 'Back of Model' were removed from their frames, rolled up and taken to the U.S. in the suitcase of a family member when she came to America.
