Lost In the Woods is a 1890 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.

This is another in the series (See sketches 14,17,18,19 and 20) of charcoal sketches done by the artist in 1890 at Lubanovo, about 75 miles outside of Moscow, according to Nadia's diary (artists wife).  This was an idyllic setting for the entire family to enjoy and Victor to begin his professional career.

This was titled 'Lost' and bears Stember's signature in the lower right corner.  This sketch also appeared in a Russian magazine article along with #14 and 18.
