Unknown person is a 1916 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.
Unfortunately, nothing is known by the family of this painting but is attributed to him on websites. Note that the vine and flower background is in keeping with the similar backgrounds of painting # 145 and 151.
This painting was later made into a postcard for a series of Stember's lovely lady paintings. The postcards can be found on various antique postcard websites by searching under : Stember.
