Profile is a 1904 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.
A postcard of this painting was acquired from Israel by the family. This is one in a series that were published by the 'Lubanskoye Society about the Care of Beggars' in Russia.
Interestingly, the original of the painting is shown in Photo #15 taken at the home of the artist and the painting is displayed with the artists daughter Natalie standing on the stairs in front of it.
