Sculptress At Work is a 1894 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.

The family has an original black and white photo of this oil painting of a 'sculptress' as well as a photo of this same painting cut out of a magazine.  It appears to be from the same article of painting # 110, also of a woman sculptress, although not the same woman.

On the back of the photo, the artists daughter wrote 'Sculptress'  Marie Dillon  1894 Moscow.  Stember does reference another sculptress, Maria Lvovna, in his diary.  Maybe the same person?
